World’s Oldest Hotel With More Then 1300 Years of History

The World’s oldest hotel or Nishiyama Onsen Keiunkan is a hot-spring hotel in Hayakawa, Yamanashi, Japan. This is one of the most famous hotel in the “Land of the Rising Sun”. The interesting is that it is not known for beautiful scenery or quality of services, but for its age – more than 1300 years old!

From the beginning of his history the hotel is owned by one family or exactly 52 generation in a row.

For this 1311 years of existence the hotel was shut down only once for maintenance and that last happened in 1998.

The hotel has traditional Japanese style but still it is modern and the interesting thing for this hotel is that there is no television or internet – this is so you can really feel relaxed and rested, simply escape from the modern world.
